Quote of the Month |
Trials, temptations, disappointments -- all these are helps instead of hindrances, if one uses them rightly. They not only test the fiber of a character, but strengthen it. Every conquered temptation represents a new fund of moral energy. Every trial endured and weathered in the right spirit makes a soul nobler and stronger than it was before. -- James Buckham |
Show Up—Both Mentally & Physically! |
Are you showing up each day both physically and mentally?
Are you going through the motions with no joy for what you
are doing? Maybe it is just that there are too many
distractions. Perhaps you feel like you are being pulled
every which way all at once. Are you over-extending yourself?
Is your spouse or family competing with your JOB for your
time and attention? What ever you are doing is it taking
you in the direction of success or are you just treading
water? |
Tip for Success |
Write Now Writing can be both fun and profitable. Have you considered the impact you could have on your business by taking a few moments in everyday to jot a line or two to a customer or client? What about expanding your client list by offering potential customers an incentive to divulge their contact information? A simple helpful hint guide or newsletter is a wonderful aide to accomplish this. If you have the talent you may even want to write and submit articles. There are many article submission sites that you could use to bolster your image and get your message out to an audience you may not have access to otherwise. |
Q & A |
Question: I recently saw that you are offering a new eBook on Presentational Skills. What age group would you consider this valuable? I have a child that stutters, is there anything in this eBook that would be of value in this situation. Answer:This eBook Presentational Skills for the Next Generation focuses on the design and preparation as well as delivery of presentations. The Next Generation pertains to the Internet Audio/Video chat room environment. For a child that stutters I highly recommend you seek the help of a speech therapist. This is one area of speech that is not helped by information but by significant time and training. |
